Üniversite öğrencilerinde toplumsal cinsiyet algısının liderlik tarzı tercihlerine etkisinde kariyer beklentilerinin aracı rolü

    Kızıl, Seda

Bu çalışmada, Bayburt Üniversitesi’nde öğrenim gören son sınıf öğrencilerinin toplumsal cinsiyet algılarının mezuniyet sonrası tercih edecekleri liderlik tarzları üzerindeki etkisi ve kariyer beklentisinin bu etkideki aracı rolü incelenmiştir. Çalışmada, 594 üniversite öğrencisinden anket yoluyla toplanan nicel veriler, yapısal eşitlik modellemesi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmanın bulguları, toplumsal cinsiyet algısının liderlik tarzı tercihlerinde anlamlı bir etkisi olduğunu ve kariyer beklentilerinin bu etkide kısmi aracılık rolü üstlendiğini göstermektedir. Çalışmanın kısıtları, örneklemin tek bir üniversiteyle sınırlı olması ve verilerin katılımcıların kendi verdikleri cevaplara dayanmasıdır. Elde edilen sonuçlar, üniversite öğrencilerinin liderlik tarzı tercihleri ile kariyer beklentilerinin şekillenmesinde toplumsal cinsiyet algısı ve kariyer hedeflerinin birlikte etkili ve dinamik bir yapıya sahip olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır.
