Özet

This research aimed to examine the relationship between teacher candidates' entrepreneurial characteristics and reflective thinking levels. The group of the research consists of teacher candidates studying at Sakarya University Physical Education and Sports Teaching Department. "Reflective Thinking Tendency Scale" and "Entrepreneurship Scale for University Students" were used as data collection tools in the research. Independent groups t-test, ANOVA, Bonferroni test and correlation analyzes were applied on the data obtained from the research. In line with the findings obtained from the research, it is seen that teacher candidates received the highest score in the reflective thinking tendency sub-dimension from the "Inquiry and Effective Teaching" sub-dimension. It is seen that female teacher candidates are at a higher level of reflective thinking than male teacher candidates. It was observed that the entrepreneurial characteristics of the research group were at the "high entrepreneurship" level. No significant difference was found in entrepreneurship characteristics according to the gender variable. According to the grade variable, it is seen that the entrepreneurship characteristics of the second-grade teacher candidates are higher. In addition, it is seen that there is no significant difference in the entrepreneurship scores of BES teacher candidates depending on whether they have taken entrepreneurship courses or not. It is seen that there is no significant difference in the participants' entrepreneurship scores according to their sports activities. However, it seems that the entrepreneurial characteristics of teacher candidates who are highly active and licensed sports players are not affected. As a result of the correlation analysis, it was found that there was a positive and significant relationship between entrepreneurship and all reflective thinking sub-dimensions.
