Defining the Degree of Listening Comprehension of 4th Grade Students of Primary Education

In this study, listening comprehension of the students are investigated. 103 4th grade students who are studying at Bayburt constitute the sample of this research. A form which is prepared by the researchers and is composed of open ended questions is used in order to gather the data. As a result of the study, it is determined that listening comprehension degree of students in terms of narrative text is higher than of informative texts, there is a meaningful difference between the students' listening comprehension degrees of narrative texts and of listened informative texts and the listening comprehension degrees of the students show a meaningful difference according to the sex.
