  Urban Agriculture Strategies and Practices within the Framework of Local Development

  Urban agriculture has the potential to directly contribute to the local development process. Accordingly, this research aims to present urban agriculture strategies and practices within the framework of local development. The research provides a general overview, including examples of good practices to produce holistic solutions for urban agriculture. The study employs a qualitative research method based on a literature review and descriptive content analysis. In the analysis process, strategies and policies reflecting general trends were determined, and the contribution of urban agriculture practices to local development was identified. In this context, it was concluded that urban agriculture practices are becoming increasingly important in urban life, are beginning to be included in urban policies and strategies and have the potential to support local development in many areas, including health, environment, economic, social, and cultural aspects.

  Consequences of Corporate Social Responsibility on Organisational Behaviour in National Publication (A Meta Analysis Study)

  Having positive effects in terms of organisational results makes the concept of corporate social responsibility important. For this reason, it is important to determine the universal validity of the results of the studies on the subject. Accordingly, the study is based on the empirical data and meta-analysis of the outcome variables related to corporate social responsibility (CSR) of national or international publications selected from Turkey through the JAMOVI programme. Thus, it is aimed to reveal the results of corporate social responsibility in detail. In this context, the analysis was carried out with 57 studies, 65 single data and 15,487 samples, which were found suitable for meta-analysis and included in the research. In the research, there are 6 concepts deemed appropriate for meta-analysis. Accordingly, it was determined that there is a positive relationship between organisational commitment, which is the most frequently associated concept with corporate social responsibility, and corporate social responsibility. At the same time, a positive and high relationship was found between corporate social responsibility and corporate image, job satisfaction, organisational citizenship, corporate reputation and organisational identification. It is thought that this study will contribute to the field in terms of providing a comprehensive and up-to-date version of corporate social responsibility through empirical studies in the national literature.

  Covid-19 Pandemi Sürecinde Sağlık Çalışanlarının Tedarik Zinciri Yönetimi Algılarının Belirlenmesi

  Sağlık hizmetlerinde tedarik zinciri yönetimi hastaların kesintisiz hizmet alabilmesinde önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. Tedarik zincirinde meydana gelen aksaklıklar kaliteli hizmet sunumu engelleyebilmektedir. Özellikle pandemi gibi kriz koşullarında artan sağlık hizmeti talebinin karşılanması ve salgınla mücadele edilebilmesi için tedarik zinciri faaliyetleri önem arz etmektedir. Tedarik zincirinin en önemli paydaşlarından biri olan sağlık çalışanlarının tedarik faaliyetlerindeki rolü yadsınamaz. Bu yüzden sağlık çalışanlarının tedarik zinciri faaliyetlerine yönelik algıları süreçlerin etkili bir şekilde yönetilmesine katkı sağlamaktadır. Bu çalışmada sağlık çalışanlarının Covid-19 pandemi sürecindeki tedarik zinciri yönetimine yönelik algıları Tedarik Zinciri Yönetimi ve Müşteri İsteklerini Karşılayabilme Yeteneği Ölçeği (TZYMİKYÖ) kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Çalışmaya 385 sağlık çalışanı katılım göstermiştir. Örneklem büyüklüğünün yeterli olması ve çarpıklık/basıklık değerlerinin +1 ile -1 arasında olmasından dolayı parametrik testler yapılmıştır. Çalışma sonucuna tanımlayıcı istatistikler, Bağımsız Örneklem t Testi ve Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi (ANOVA) yapılarak ulaşılmıştır. Çalışmaya katılan sağlık çalışanlarının Covid-19 pandemi sürecinde tedarik zinciri yönetimi algılarının ortalamanın üzerinde olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca çalışanların mesleki tecrübeleri, çalıştıkları kurum, kurum içindeki pozisyon ve çalıştıkları birimin Covid-19 pandemi sürecindeki tedarik zinciri yönetimi algıları üzerinde etkisi olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

  Health-Seeking Consumer: Cognitive Dissonance Encountered After Panic Buying

  This study aims to specify whether the “health-seeking” consumers’ information overload and cyberchondria that arise as a result of the information they acquire, cause panic buying and whether these purchases can later cause cognitive dissonance. The study sample, for which an online survey method was preferred, consisted of consumers aged 18 years and older who stated that they made panic purchases due to health concerns. Structural equation modeling and mediation analyses were applied to analyze the data in the study, which included 400 participants. The findings showed that health information seeking has an effective on information overload; both information and communication overload have an effective on cyberchondria; cyberchondria has an effective on panic buying and cognitive dissonance dimensions. Panic buying has an effective on cognitive dissonance dimensions and has a mediating effect between cyberchondria and cognitive dissonance dimensions. People's health concerns are a constant, which will in turn lead to a cycle of seeking information. With this foresight, the research investigates the consumers’ panic buying. However, proposed research model does not end with panic buying. The focus is on the response of the consumer after these purchases, and this is thought to be a contribution to the literature.
