The Effect of Using Peer Instruction Technique on the Students’ Achivement Levels in Teaching 7th Grade Light Topic

: The purpose of this study is to examine whether the use of peer instruction techniques on light has an effect on the achievement levels of Grade 7 students. Study design, single group pretest - posttest semi-experimental model. 62 students studying in 7 / A, 7 / B and 7C classes in a private secondary school in Kecioren district of Ankara province (Female: 38, Male: 24) participated in the study. As a classmate, 5 students who try to run it in a class are doing it as "Teacher Peer". Prior to the specified opportunity, the process of training as a peer who taught in 5 sessions in terms of 40 's was realized.
