Özet

The Reformation movement that emerged in the 16th century is seen as the success of Martin Luther, who tried to establish his own authority against the authority of the Pope and the clergy. However, although the reform movement was the success of Luther, it did not progress as he wanted, and while Luther wanted to realize his reform in line with his aims, this reform led to the emergence of different groups in addition to the Catholic Church against Luther. The Reformation also encouraged and guided some clergy who had questions about the Catholic world and Bible practices. Thus, in that era, the diversity and differentiation in the ways of religious thought and perception led to the emergence of many different groups. One of these groups was named Anabaptist because they claimed that adult baptism is true baptism, and they went down in history as the "Radical Movement" due to these contrary beliefs. In this research, we tried to cover some of the heated debates between the Anabaptist leaders and Luther, Luther's attitude towards them, and partly the Peasants' War.
