The contribution of University students expenses to city economy: The case of students of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Bayburt University

Universities have different effects on region in which they areestablished in terms of economic, social and cultural. In particular, the spendingof universities students contributes the economy of cities. It is, therefore,important in order to determine. In this research, the questionnaire has beenused for students of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative, BayburtUniversity. It has been seen in this study that such students have spent 432,66TL in average per month. Moving from this result it is claimed that 4791students who study at Bayburt University between 2012 and 2013 contribute tothe economy of Bayburt city approximately 16 582 992,48 TL.
