Özet

According to the application of article 280/A of the Tax Procedure Law (TPL), exchange differences arising from the portion of the foreign currencies brought from abroad and put as capital to the capital companies that will invest within the scope of the investment incentive certificate, until the end of the accounting period following the accounting period in which they started to work, can be taken into a particular fund account in liabilities. This study proposes suggestions on following and reporting the accounts of exchange rate differences due to the portion of foreign currencies brought from abroad and invested as capital, spent within the scope of investment incentive certificate during the said period by taking into account the Uniform Account Plan, 280/A article of TPL No. 213 and the Communique No. 495, which regulates the procedures and principles regarding the implementation of this article, and the draft chart of accounts by the financial reporting standards prepared by the Public Oversight, Accounting, and Auditing Standards.
