In this study, meta-analysis method was\rused because the aim was to synthesize the findings of quantitative research. The data of this\rstudy were accessed from ERIC, Akademic Search Complete, Education Source and Scopus data\rscanning bases. The data cover between 2008-2019. A number of criteria have been developed\rfor the selection of researches. A total of 55 basic studies meeting the criteria of this study were\rincluded in the analysis. In this study, the free effect sizes produced by the researches were\rpreferred as the analysis unit. A total of 150 effect sizes were analyzed. The effect sizes were\rcalculated with the package program, CMA 2.2. Pearson correlation coefficient (r = ES) was\rpreferred as the effect size of each independent study. As a result of the research, it has been\robserved that school engagement affects students' academic achievements weakly and positively.\rIn addition, it was found that the distribution of effect sizes varied according to the scale type\rused, academic field and engagement dimensions moderators.</dc:description><dc:date>2021</dc:date><dc:type>Article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/r/bayburt/16761</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>https://doi.org/10.17556/erziefd.731656</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>2148-7510</dc:identifier><dc:language>tr</dc:language><dc:relation>Erzincan Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Dergisi</dc:relation><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://bayburt-rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/tr/items/bayburt/16761</dc:identifier></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
