For this purpose, semi-structured clinical interviews were conducted with Merve, a 5-year-old girl, and Merve's skill to recognize length was examined. Merve's understanding of different representations of quality, recognizing, showing, identifying and comparing objects according to these representations were investigated. Different representations of the quality of length consist of long-short, wide-narrow, thick-thin, high-low, deep-shallow concepts, which are also aimed by the preschool curriculum. The study is a case study with a qualitative design. Data collected by audio and video recording through clinical interviews completed in two sessions were analyzed using content analysis method. It can be said that Merve can recognize long-short, and height representations, make correct comparisons, and use relevant terms appropriately. However, it has been observed that the skill to recognize the concepts of thick-thin, wide-narrow, deep-shallow is based on intuitive facts and is not yet mature.</dc:description><dc:date>2022</dc:date><dc:type>Article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/r/bayburt/16734</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>https://doi.org/10.35675/befdergi.870652</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>1307-1076</dc:identifier><dc:language>tr</dc:language><dc:relation>BAYBURT EĞİTİM FAKÜLTESİ DERGİSİ</dc:relation><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://bayburt-rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/tr/items/bayburt/16734</dc:identifier></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
