In the research, a qualitative research approach has been adopted. Since the textbooks of two courses will be examined in the study, document analysis, one of the qualitative research models, was used. Turkish and Turkish language and literature textbooks were scanned in the research in accordance with the document analysis model. The data obtained for the purpose are categorized and made meaningful. The data source of the study included secondary school (5- 8. grades) Turkish and high school (9-12. grades) Turkish language and literature textbooks, which were renewed in 2018. Elements of the genres and authors of the texts in the textbooks were subjected to content analysis. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the genre of poetry, story and theatre continues regularly from the 5 grade and the article type from the 6 to the 12 grades. It has been determined that the most frequently used genre in Turkish and Turkish language literature textbooks is poetry. Most of the texts in Turkish and Turkish language and literature textbooks are the single author. Texts from Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar are mostly used in secondary and high school textbooks. Then it was seen that Attila İlhan, Faruk Nafiz Çamlıbel and Ziya Osman Saba came. Together with these, it has been revealed that a total of 27 authors have texts in both secondary and high school textbooks.</dc:description><dc:date>2021</dc:date><dc:type>Article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/r/bayburt/14642</dc:identifier><dc:language>tr</dc:language><dc:relation>Van Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Dergisi</dc:relation><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccess</dc:rights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://bayburt-rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/tr/items/bayburt/14642</dc:identifier></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
