The influence of metal cations such as Zn2+, Fe2+, Mn2+, Ni2+, Co2+, Hg2+ and Cu2+ on the spectroscopic properties of the ligands, the starting material dinitrile and MgPz were investigated in acetonitrile-chloroform solution (1/1) by means of absorption spectrometry. Absorption spectra showed isosbestic points in the spectrophotometric titration of Cu2+ and Hg2+ with MgPz ligand. The results of spectrophotometric titration experiments disclosed the complex stability constant of the novel ligand, MgPz with Cu2+ and Hg2+ cations.</dc:description><dc:publisher>IOS Press</dc:publisher><dc:date>2015</dc:date><dc:type>Article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/r/bayburt/12473</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>https://doi.org/10.3233/mgc-140148</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>1024-1221</dc:identifier><dc:language>en</dc:language><dc:relation>Main Group Chemistry</dc:relation><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://bayburt-rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/tr/items/bayburt/12473</dc:identifier></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
